Its more about habituating animals to being fed.by humans than about junk being bad.for them. Animals can lose their ability or will to procur food on their own. Also they become conditioned to being around people which is bad when the animals is dangerous (like an alligator). And lastly they become nuisance animals begging and shitting all over the place..

That’s not how that works… sure, kids *shouldn’t* eat junk food but there’s a huge difference between the species that the food was made for and a wild animal. You wouldn’t eat dog food, would you?

You don’t need to make this comparison because different animals eat different things and will die by eating something which other animals eat every day. For example, dogs can’t eat chocolate and cats must eat meat, while mosquitoes drink blood and cows graze grass, and none of them want the same meal.
Either way junk food is unhealthy, and that’s why it’s called junk. Wow. And yes, ideally, we should have a culture which prioritizes healthier food and living more.

Feeding junk food to animals isn’t frowned upon because of the fact that junk food is unhealthy in general (it is, but that’s unrelated). It’s because junk food is designed for human digestive tracts, which means that other animals can experience unique negative side effects if they consume it. You can’t feed grapes to a dog, but that doesn’t make grapes unhealthy for children, it’s just an inherent issue that arises from variance in digestive systems in animals. While junk food is a problem for feeding children, this argument doesn’t really have a valid logical basis.
